Deterrent to Crime:
It is common knowledge that properties that have security systems are less likely to be
broken into, preventing robbery, home invasion and danger to you and your loved ones. Not
only does it prevent crime to your property, but it also helps make your neighbourhood safer.
Protects your Valuables:
If you have family heirlooms, or possessions that are precious to you and have a high dollar
value, then we recommend installing a security system that will discourage criminals from
‘casing your property’. However, if your house is targeted the advantage of having cameras is
that you can hand them over to the police, which can be used as evidence in court.
Monitor your property remotely:
Whether you decide to install a home security system for your home or business, with today’s
technology, you are now able to monitor your property 24/7 remotely. Depending on the security system you purchase, all cameras can

Only recently, Rod from Jim’s Security in Wyong was asked to install a security system at a
customer’s home and restaurant. The customer asked for a security system that would enable
him to monitor all CCTV cameras on the one app.
Rod chose Dahua range of products, because they provide great low light, and full colour images at night. The cameras are 6
megapixel and come in black and white. For the customer’s home, Rod also hooked up a 4
channel NVR to his lounge room TV. Most of the cabling was concealed in the wall cavity
except for one external camera under awning. Rod set up the cameras so that they monitor all
entry and exit points of the house.
For the restaurant they used the Dahua 6 camera system, 6 Megapixel IP cameras with
Starlight (low light) technology. 8 channel NVR connected wirelessly to on site internet. Like
the home security system, images can be monitored via the Dahua app. All cabling in
conduit, was painted black to match the restaurants black concrete roof.
