Jim’s Security Training and Onboarding Process

Jim’s Security is dedicated to providing all our franchisees with the core foundations to build their own thriving business. Franchisees will receive on-going training and support for the duration of their tenure, beginning with our comprehensive 8 week on-boarding process. This includes:

3 Day Training Course at Jim's Head Office

Among other things, this is designed to familiarise franchisees with the Jim’s System and allow them to maximise their lead generation and conversion rate.

Field Training With Jim's Digital Area Managers

This is an opportunity to ride along with established Jim’s Security franchisees and receive intensive, one-on-one technical assessment and development to ensure you’ve got the skills ready to start working from day one!

Accreditation Through Registered Training Organisations

Short courses including CCTV installation, cabling and manufacturer operated product training with a pathway to becoming an ASIAL Certified Security Technician. This is the benchmark for electronic security training in Australia.

Supplier Introduction & Training

One of the biggest advantages of Jim’s Security Franchise Ownership is the access to premium level discounts and support through nationally recognised suppliers. Included in every franchisee’s start-up kit is a range of products that franchisees are free to either on-sell, or install at their home as test kits. Upon collection of the equipment, the supplier will supply training on the core products range, in addition to introducing franchisees to the range of products available. 

Sales Training

Intensive, one on one sales training with the General Manager of Jim’s Security. The focus of this training will be establishing a franchisee’s ability to manage their enquiries, increase their product knowledge and maximise their ability to convert the lead to a job. 

Upon completion of the initial onboarding process, we are confident franchisees will have the belief in themselves and their ability to go out and start building their business. However this doesn’t mean franchisees can expect any support to waiver. Jim’s Security has established on-going support measures to ensure franchisees will continue to grow, develop and thrive. 

Access to Internal Communications Forum

Enabling Jim’s Security franchisees to discuss everything from technical support to sales insights.

Monthly Franchisee Meetings

Run by area managers and franchisors, the meetings are designed to introduce new products and packages, discuss any new marketing and advertising strategies, provide feedback etc. 

Monthly Check in with General Manager

Providing franchisees with on-going business support and coaching whilst giving franchisees an avenue for feedback and support.

Monthly Supplier Webinar/Training

With technologies constantly being updated, we recognise the importance of staying in front of the competition. Receive priority training from a different supplier each month. 

Annual Business Reviews

Provided by management, Annual reviews are designed to ensure franchisees are running their business as efficiently and effectively as possible.
