With millions of dollars in tools, materials and equipment stolen each year in Australia, it’s important for all builders and clients to protect their work sites. The financial impact can cause significant stress and unnecessary delays to the project.

Temporary cameras were installed on the site shed.

That is why it’s recommended that you consider installing a security system. Not only can it protect your site from potential theft but also vandalism, which can also be a problem.

But, in some cases it’s not as easy as just installing CCTV cameras and away you go. Not all work sites are cabled enabling CCTV cameras to be installed. However there is a solution and that is to install Solar CCTV cameras.

Recently, Michael from Jim’s Security South Morang was asked to install Solar CCTV cameras for a worksite in Werribee. For this job he teamed up with Troy from Jim’s Security Epping.

They had already installed temporary cameras on the site sheds however this side of the site was not able to be cabled. 

The 2x Dahua TiOC 2.0 security cameras are set for lights & sirens at specific times in specific areas to actively detour potential intruders.

The solar panel charges the battery & will provide up to 10 days of power if there is no sun. A 4G modem is installed for remote viewing also.
