Warranty Terms & Conditions
Jim’s Security are proud to offer a guarantee on all services, along with a warranty on our range of systems as set out below:
- Jim’s Antennas & Security shall provide a warranty on all supplied equipment installed by the technician on the date of the receipt;
- All customer-supplied equipment installed by a Jims security installer is covered by an installation warranty only. Items that are faulty or become faulty will be the customers responsibility. If the installer is required to return to remove/ reinstall any customer supplied equipment a fee may be charged.
- The warranty excludes batteries or any cable provided or installed to link devices to other devices or to the Internet; Hard Disc Drives are a component of CCTV systems and are covered by a 12-month manufacturer warranty only.
- The warranty extends from the date of the receipt for the period of time specified on the receipt. If no period has been specified, the warranty extends for a period of 12 months from the date of receipt.
- Jim’s Antennas & Security are not responsible for any network issues, outside influences, changes to signal quality or NBN service in any given area;
- The warranty does not cover incorrect use of the system or work undertaken by a person other than a Jim’s Antennas & Security technician;
- The Warranty does not cover resetting of apps and/or passwords on new devices – this a billable service call.
- Jim’s Antennas & Security reserve the right to have the first opportunity to rectify any damage to property or faulty security equipment, within a reasonable timeframe;
- Jim’s Antennas & Security’s liability other than this warranty shall be limited to the repair of damages caused or value thereof;
- Jim’s Antennas & Security will endeavour to have a technician visit your premises within 7 days of a warranty claim;
- All stock shall remain the property of Jim’s Security until such time as the total invoice amount shown on the invoice is paid in full.
- Should any accounts remain in arrears and should these arrears then be handed to a debt collection agency, the client named on the invoice shall be liable for any additional costs that may arise from the collection of these arrears
- Jim’s technician is required to attend and the problem is not a warranty issue, the technician may charge a service call fee.
